Through a series of projects our larger goal was to poise this 70+ year old company for expansion. It was necessary to address multiple areas including employee retention and satisfaction, customer experience, marketing strategy and operational systems.
We improved customer experience by installing a brand new Point of Sale system that made it easier for staff to communicate and customers to order and pay for their meal at the table, increasing daily covers by 30%. We also launched a new waitlist and reservation management system which improved customer experience and staff satisfaction as the old system caused many issues that they had to overcome. We implemented benefits for eligible employees and installed a new phone software to ease burden of phone calls that staff had to answer. This also improved customer experience to receive answers within 30 seconds of calling and minimized wait times.
We used our strong following to connect across facebook and instagram with our community. We highlighted menu favorites, new additions, and special offerings. We improved social presence, increased sales across products by using targeted SEO strategies and offered promotions to drive online and in person diners. We improved the online and dine-in experience and utilized marketing automation to increase traffic, resulting in a 25% increase in sales within the first 3 months.
